At least 84 killed and many injured in a tragic fire at the KTS factory in Bangladesh. Many of the killed and injured were children. Locked or blocked fire escapes trapped workers in the building. The workers were producing for Uni Hosiery, Ambiance USA, Inc., VIDA Enterprise Corp. and ATT Enterprise, all of Los Angeles, and O’Rite International Corp. of Union City.
